You have a bit of a thing for vintage watches and you are looking for the right poster to decorate your walls? Good news, we probably have found the rare gem you were looking for…
Here at Toolwatch we decided to go antiquing and we brought back a very nice Omega feat. Kirby vintage print ad from the 30s.
Kirby, Beard & Co was a top notch department store located in the heart of Paris, 5 rue Auber, near the Opera. Parisian address but British name? Yep, that’s correct, it’s coming from business partners Robert Kirby and Georges Beard who invested in a pin-making company which progressively turned into a famous store distributing luxury objects such as Swiss watches.
Then, Kirby, Beard & Co Parisian store officially opened in 1878. Back in that time, Paris was not only the capital of France… It was already the capital of Luxury! And the fancy Opera neighborhood and lively rue Auber in the 9th arrondissement was the perfect location.
All our vintage print ads are framed with the same design transparent glass and solid ash wood frame. This nice floating frame is exactly what we wanted from the very beginning, not a easy task to find it… But at Toolwatch we are sourcing only the best for our guys!
Each framed print ad is unique, so calling it limited is an understatement…
First come, only served!
